A PhD Studentship (to start in October 2019) is now available via the HETSYS Centre for Doctoral Training at Warwick Uni. Jointly supervised by myself and Dr. David Quigley (Warwick Physics), the project focuses on quantifying the uncertainty of crystal nucleation rates – with special emphasis on the choice of the order parameters we inevitably use in molecular simulations to label atoms/particles/molecules as crystalline or not.

Sounds easy – it’s not, and it’s for the brave only! Do you have what it takes? If you think so, get in touch – and sign up for the HetSyS CDT open day on February 20th at Warwick Uni.

More details about the project can be found here.
